Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel in Wengen during the ski season was a vintage yet functional experience. The rooms, though a bit dated, offered a decent size and the most brilliant views of the surroundings. The location was unbeatable with fantastic balcony views, near the ski lift, and with the main street easily accessible. The dining options, while good, required early reservations for dinner. The service was top-notch, with pick-ups from the station making everything easy, and staff always ready to help with recommendations and reservations.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff extremely kind and welcoming, and the location amazing with great views of the Alps. The dining experience was very tasty, but a bit repetitive over the course of four days. Overall, a perfect choice for a stay in Wengen.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though in need of an update, offered functional spaces with great views of the Jungfrau that were a treat after long days of mountain walks. The service, particularly from the hardworking and friendly junior staff, was fantastic and always helpful. The location excelled with its best Swiss traditions and convenient access to ski lifts and transportation hubs. However, the dining options were somewhat lacking despite a good breakfast, and the hotel's facilities left something to be desired.
